Forbes just published our latest project developed with GroupScope - Interactive Forbes 400 Map. The richest people and Universities they graduated (or dropped).

September 17th, 2007Houston, TX - Sept-17, 2007. Spresent is launching custom development service. We are experts in Flash applications development. While Spresent is our main product, we are creating a group dedicated to custom application development. The group will be focused on Flash/Flex development (as a service) for our customers and creating new prototypes. Here are some of the project categories we have experience with and we would like to share the experience:
* Spresent customization and integration with enterprise file storage

Update: Select Uploaded Images From the List
August 14th, 2007Spresent is updated. Here is what’s new:
- Uploaded Images browser. Now uploaded images can be selected and added to another slides, in similar way as the images from library. Once the image is uploaded from computer to spresent, it will show up in the properties panel
- Image Upload dialog has new Tab - for uploaded images
- Internal .Bak file is created on the sever - in case the presentation file was corrupted on File-Save due to un-reliable internet/network file transfer.

In response to the increasing demand, we are upgrading our system capabilities, which mean better performance, availability and increased reliability.
In making this transition, Spresent web storage will be off-line and unavailable on Saturday, August 11th, 2007 from 7:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. CST.
This means, No login into Spresent application (can’t edit or create new presentations). We made a backup - Public presentations published on the web sites should work fine.
We are very sorry for any inconvenience this may cause you, but we know you will love your service even more after these brief upgrades. Thank you for being a part of our growth, and we look forward to serving you with even more exciting features and functions to come.

August 8th, 2007Spresent is updated with new excited feature.
1. Download Presentation Files
Now you can download from spresent server your presentations created with Spresent Web in the browser.
There is a new [Download] button on the Open File dialogs. Presentations are downloaded in .SIPx format and can be opened and edited with Spresent Win (Windows version). Note: Upload feature will be released next week.
The 10-day trial version of Spresent Win is available at www.spresent.com/products/ or from popular download sites, like C|Net download.com
2. Other improvements
- List of all uploaded images for the presentation. Image can be changed to another uploaded image via “Load Style” option in the properties panel
- Publish dialog: links are selected and highlighted. Just press Copy button and Paste the link into your document.
- Web link validation when adding web object to the slide

Updated: Spresent Player
July 31st, 2007Spresent presentation player is updated:
- Now it shows “Loading” message while pre-loading the presentation
- Loading message box shows text link to Products page
- Semi-transparent Spresent logo is displayed at the top right corner of the presentation (in free version). It will not be displayed in Premium version (to be released in late August)
- Player loads faster - the player file size is about 25% smaller now (removed some legacy code)
